The Little Moon Residence

The JSSC in admit card is an annual national event. In every state, the event is held at the end of June and brings together all college admissions officers and students to discuss the admissions process. It is a great way to learn about the processes used in the student’s application and a great opportunity for students to meet other students from the same university.

I’m going to tell you this to give you a better idea of what to expect from the event. While the event is always fun, I’m not going to pretend like it isn’t also very serious. Because it is.

The event itself isn’t very serious, but you will get the sense that it is. We’ll get into that a bit more later, but the event is very much a showcase of the student and the student’s families’ experience in the admissions process. One of the cool things about the event is that you get to hear a lot of admissions officers talk about the application process.

This year’s event was the biggest ever at Indiana State University. We had more than 1,000 applicants, and there were multiple committees present for the event like the admissions committee, the interview committee, and the scholarship committee. Each committee was assigned a few representatives from each committee to make sure there was a wide variety of applicants.

The event was also the first time we had an actual competition. We submitted our best interview video, a few essays, and a couple of photo essays. We were also the first to submit our personal statement, so it was fun to see how our application compared to others.

The only thing that we did not do was the self-assessment. We did that on October 21, so if you want to see how we did, hit the link.

We had a lot of applicants, so it was an interesting experience. I have to say, I was very nervous because of the fact that I’m a self-proclaimed introvert, so I’m not sure my answers would have been that interesting. I think all of us struggled with our answers, especially because of the competition. We definitely had to fight for our spots, but after a few rounds we all were pretty happy to get called in.

I think everyone who applied had some sort of self-assessment to do. We had to pick our “best” two answers to give to the admissions committee, then we had to write two short essays on why they chose certain answers, and then we had to write a paper explaining how they made their choices.

The whole thing was pretty chaotic, but I’m glad we were able to give everyone the opportunity to pick their best answers. It was all a bit of a blur when that happened, but I think I did a good job.

I was also pleased to see that we had a bunch of applicants who were really interested in our school and wanted to apply there, so I think they got a lot of consideration.
