The movie is about a boy named Billy who lives in a house in the woods with his stuffed animals and his pet bear. One day he comes across a huge wild animal that looks just like him and he calls his father and goes and gets him to look after the animal. Years pass and Billy lives more in the woods and the wild animals are becoming more and more like him. Billy eventually goes and finds a big tree full of wild animals and he finds a cave where he lives.
That’s where play it by ear comes from. A great piece of advice from Stephen King, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” I don’t know if we’ve ever told you this before but that’s a classic.
