It was the kind of brand that was made by someone who had an idea for a brand and then worked really hard to create it.

Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them. Whereas a person with self-awareness is able to exercise a little meta-cognition and say, “Hmm… every time my sister calls me and asks for money, I end up drinking a lot of vodkas.

It’s kind of like a car that runs on gasoline. When the gas is running out, you just stop. The car is dead. But if you stop to think about it, then you know that by not stopping, the car is dead. If I’m not driving my car, then I don’t think about it. I don’t think about what I’m going to do about my gas tank. I just stop the car and leave.

All that said, this is what self-awareness looks like. It’s when your mind says “Yes, I do think about what to do next, I think about what I have to do next, and I think about the consequences of my actions.
