The first time I saw the word “self” on a business card, I thought it meant a person making decisions for themselves, but that wasn’t the case. “Self” was the word used in the title of this blog. The word “self” has multiple meanings, but the one I was using the most was referring to someone with a good attitude.
The idea behind a blog is to let the real world out, but in a way that is still true to your own life.
I think the word self is a good example. The word self means, “self-knowledge.” The word self-conscious might be a better word, but I use the word self-knowledge because you must have self-knowledge to be self-conscious.
Self-knowledge can be gained through self-awareness.
Self-awareness is a quality that enables a person to reflect on their own behavior and learn from it. It is the ability to be aware of what you are doing and to stop, reflect, and start again if needed. Self-knowledge is the ability to be aware of what you are doing and to stop, reflect, and start again if needed. Self-consciousness is the ability to be aware of your feelings and to stop, reflect, and start again if needed.

The ability to be aware of one’s own thoughts, feelings, and behavior and to stop, reflect, and start again if needed. One doesn’t have to be aware of all of that to be self-aware, but it’s certainly helpful.

A self-aware person can often be aware of a greater number of self-references (i.e. thinking about oneself), as opposed to someone who is not self-aware, in which case they would just be as unaware of themselves as a complete and utter moron. Self-awareness has a number of different meanings. For example, one of the meanings of self-knowledge is the ability to know yourself. Another meaning is the concept of “knowing oneself”.
For example, a person who knows their own name and identity has a self-awareness score of 70. A person who knows who they are and what they stand for has a self-awareness score of 96.
