This day is our national deworming day, and we’re going to be the first one to stop and think about it every time we do it.
The story is a big one, but it’s the only one that people are allowed to learn about.
It’s National Dectomorbid Day, and for the past 18 years we’ve been talking about the importance of preventable parasitic infections. For those of us who grew up in the 90s, we grew up with all sorts of nasty diseases that we were sure the government was doing a terrible job of controlling. I’m hoping we can all come together and make a big noise, and change the tone of the conversation.
Dectomorbid, a parasitic disease which causes a person to be very sick and unable to live in most normal ways, affects about 5,000 people in the US each year. That’s about 1,000 people per day. It’s a severe illness, and for some, it can be permanent. According to the CDC, about 35% of people with the disease die, and about 19% of people with the disease are wheelchair-bound.
The National deworming day is an annual event in the US where the CDC conducts a campaign to spread awareness about the disease. Each year, the CDC publishes a list of the diseases it has discovered in the US and in the world, and it starts a campaign to get people to learn about those diseases.
The first national deworming day was in 1992. Since then the National Deworming Day has been held every year in the US. The original goal was to raise $1 million for the National Deworming Foundation. The National Deworming Foundation is an organization that works to prevent the disease and is a non-profit that has been around since 1992. The goal for this year is to raise $5 million.
Well it’s certainly an interesting initiative. I know what you’re thinking, this sounds like some sort of a gimmick, but the idea of deworming has become very serious in recent years. It’s not just about the money though. We’ve been seeing an increase in the number of people who have been diagnosed with deworming disease and in an attempt to save the lives of people who have deworming disease, we are now focusing on prevention.
The main problem with deworming is that it can be a very serious disease. A single worm can lead to the death of a person and it can take up to a year before a person is considered dewormed. Deworming is often fatal and if youre not careful, you could spend the rest of your life without a family.
The real problem comes in with the “welfare” component of deworming: the need to have a home with the right person and someone who can help them. This means doing this thing the right way: getting the right person. This is where some of the “welfare” component comes into play.
It was the most effective tool to help keep the welfare component of deworming alive. A house is not just another home, it’s the house that has the right person. For most of us, having someone to take care of all the housekeeping tasks at home makes our life much easier. Having the right person, and having a proper housekeeping schedule, makes our lives easier for some people.
