It’s just that it’s usually a lot more effort to take on that task than it is to just eat as much as you can. For example, most people who are overweight (especially women) don’t have the time to spend at the gym, so they instead end up eating more and more food that they cant afford, and end up gaining weight.

The good news is that dieting can actually make even the most calorie efficient. If you want to get a bigger kick out of eating less and then putting a couple of small meals down on the floor, it helps to eat the small meals that you can afford.

If you want to lose weight, but are doing it wrong, the right diet is actually a way to get more energy out of the calories you do consume. It’s a way to burn fat and still get the calories you need to stay healthy. If you don’t count calories and focus on eating smaller portions than you normally would, you end up eating less but still burning the same amount of calories, so you’ll be more efficient at burning them.
