Today I’m sharing with you a new recipe and video that I created from the recipe that I shared on my Facebook page earlier today. I’ve already shared it on my blog so if you want to watch for yourself, you can do so here.
If you like jallikattu, this recipe should be a perfect accompaniment. Ive been wanting to make a jallikattu recipe for years, but it’s been so hard to find the right ingredients. I know I was super lucky that I found the recipe from one of your friends who shared it online because of their incredible photography skills. This recipe is also an absolute delight to eat.
I’ve already done a video on jallikattu’s original recipe which you can watch here. In this video you will see what different ingredients can be used to create jallikattu. I recommend using a boneless breast meat and grilling it in the oven, as I did, after I made the recipe.
I’ve also included a video on how to make jallikattu, and a recipe for jallikattu masala, which can be enjoyed with anything. It’s incredibly simple to make. Use your favorite pan, grill pan, or baking dish and cook your meat over medium-high heat. You need to allow the meat to cook to your desired doneness, but once it reaches that look, you can then sprinkle the masala on top.
Ive also included a video of me roasting jallikattu and making it into a curry, and a recipe for the masala. The video is actually the first of a series called “Jallikattu in the Kitchen,” which you can watch after watching the recipe video to see how the masala is made.

I love jallikattu. I have made it many times to try and replicate it and my favorite one is the one made by Latha. I usually combine two pieces of rice and one piece of jallikattu and then add a little bit of cheese to make a jallikattu gravy. I have also made it for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit.
I’m not sure if I like jallikattu more because it’s not as spicy, but it’s the most popular. It’s also very tasty and you can easily make it at home even if you don’t have the recipe. If you do, you need about a pound of jallikattu, so you can easily make a pound of it and then I’m sure you’ll find that you like it more.
What makes jallikattu so tasty is that it’s made of jallikattu, which is the entire jallikattu batter, and cheese. It’s essentially a creamy, sweet rice dish that’s full of meat and veggies. It’s usually served with a side of jallikattu gravy, but if you want to eat without it, you can take some extra off the table if you want.
