The Indian government and media in India have been very tight-lipped about the recent anti-Semitic attack on a New York City rabbi. The attack took place in Delhi’s Hauz Khas Market, where more then 100 Jews were killed. The rabbi was struck in the head with a baton, which was then thrown into the crowd. There were some reports that he was attacked because he was Jewish, but this is not confirmed.
We’re still waiting for a resolution to this one, but I’m excited to see more news on the subject.
The news of the attack has not been released by the Indian government or media in India, and there are still many questions about it. It is possible that the Indian government and media are trying to avoid a panic and to cover it up while the tragedy is still fresh. In my experience, the more things change, the more things stay the same. In this case, it seems as though there may be a connection between the attack and the anti-Semitic attack on a Jewish-American.
The attack in New Delhi is just the latest in a series of violence perpetrated by Hindu extremists against minority communities. Last month in Delhi, a mentally ill man stabbed a man to death and then threw acid on him and his wife. Also in September 2009, a Muslim mob attacked a Kashmiri woman, beating her and threatening her with violence because she had the audacity to visit the home of her Hindu neighbor.
While the attacks in India are a serious problem, it’s still important to point out that the main reason the attacks occur is because the majority of people in India are still of majority Hindu faith. But that doesn’t mean they’re happy to have anti-Hindu violence happening in their midst.

The reasons behind anti-Hindu violence are not the same reasons behind anti-Muslim violence. What makes the Indian attacks so much worse is that the majority of hate comes from the Hindu majority, which is a fact that is blatantly obvious to anyone who has eyes to see. As far as I can tell, there is no such thing as anti-Muslim hatred.
The attacks come from Hindu extremists who are the most vocal part of the Indian hate-mongers. The fact that the attacks happen in India is not because of what is happening in the U.S. but because of what is happening in India. The Indian hate-mongers are the ones who hate Hindus the most.
There is certainly no “anti-Muslim” hate-mongers in India. What there is is the Indian hate-mongers who are the most vocal and the most ignorant. The fact that these hate-mongers and their supporters are the ones who have been doing the best jobs of demonizing Muslims in India is pretty much a given. In fact, I think the recent attacks on the U.S.
In the recent attacks in the U.S. an Indian man named Sayed Qutb was killed by a Muslim mob in Oregon, a mob that claimed that his death was because of his “religion.” His death was an outrage to the world and was very much condemned in India. It’s not at all surprising that India is becoming more hostile towards Muslims.
