I have spent way too many summer days on the patio, so when I was asked to send a letter to my friend’s daughter I knew it had to be this summer. I went to the post office in my town, and a very nice gentleman asked me to come in and do some signing. I signed the letter, put it into an envelope, and sealed it. A few weeks later, I got a package from the post office.

The package was a letter to my daughter, with a postmark from another state. My first reaction to it was, “Why would my daughter want to write me a letter?” Of course, my daughter loves me and I love her, so I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised.

The letter was sent to my daughter by an unnamed man in India. He wrote her a nice letter, but it was a bit long, so I had to cut it up into a few pieces to mail. Even then, I have no idea what this guy was trying to accomplish.
