A lot of us have a lot of time for school, and we don’t want to mess with the kids that way. I don’t want to be a schoolmistress, or to be the one to stop by every day, and it would be a waste of time to have a day off from school.

I agree with you, but in college we have a lot of extra time, so we dont want to spend it that way. I think for the most part we do not want to be the ones who spend it doing things that arent necessary or fun, and if we are not part of the school then we have to pay the cost of it.

I dont know, maybe it is because parents have a lot of time to themselves, or maybe they have a lot of kids to keep track of, or maybe it is because they have a lot of money and are not wasting it on frivolous things. Whatever it is, you may be right.

I’m not sure I understand the question. College is supposed to be fun, and you can spend your time doing things that are not important. If you go to a school with a lot of children, I bet you spend a lot of time with them. If you’re doing something that is not fun, then you might as well do something that is fun.

The problem is college is not very fun. Sure, it is fun to be in a class where you are learning something new, but its not fun to be stuck in a room with a bunch of people who are talking and nodding along. College is not the place to meet new people, it is the place to meet people who are already meeting you. If you are planning to go to college, you need to find friends, not people who can just meet you.

I love college. It is the place I go to to build my own identity, to create my world, and to learn about the world around me.
