You’ve probably seen the trailer. It’s been very long, and it’s a pretty good one. We were working on it.
The trailer doesn’t show us how we’ll be doing this, but it does show us the process. The casserole dish is made from the same ingredients we use for spaghetti and meatballs, except instead of meat, we’re using ground beef. We’re also using canned whole tomatoes and canned Italian herbs. We’re using canned spaghetti sauce and canned tomato paste. We also use canned pasta. And we use fresh mozzarella cheese.
This is our method of cooking. We make a large casserole dish from the casserole base. We then add in a big bowl of the meatballs (and whatever else we have on hand), meat, and pasta sauce. We set the casserole on the stove, and leave it to cook for a few minutes. We then cut the meatballs into bite sized chunks and add them to our meat sauce. We then drop in the tomatoes and herbs and stir everything together.
