I am all about being in control of my life. I am all about being a positive influence in the world, so I am a huge proponent of being aware of my surroundings and being able to take a step back. When I look out the window, I think about the people I care about, and I do my best to do the right thing by them.
The people who I care about are the most important thing in life. So what’s the point of my life if I don’t take care of it? I don’t do anything, but I just watch them. I don’t do anything. I don’t care. I do it.
That’s exactly right. We get it, I’m no saint. I have a lot of good intentions and very little willpower. So it’s nice to know that I can use that to my advantage. I mean, my whole life I’ve been in a constant state of wanting to take care of people. I’m not a bad person, though I’m not perfect either. I only want what’s best for them, so they deserve better than I could even offer.
It’s a shame because, let’s face it, the majority of people are probably selfish jerks. Most of us are people who have no other choice in life. We can’t help ourselves. But with a bit of a bit of self-awareness, you can change that. People are people, and even though selfish people make a lot of mistakes and have a lot of anger, they still make mistakes. They still need help. And that’s okay.
As the saying goes, you can’t change what you’re not willing to change. If you aren’t willing to help yourself, then you’ll probably never learn to help others. You’ll just continue to hurt people who need help. That’s why I’ve been thinking about how people are so quick to judge other people’s self-esteem. I don’t think we can blame people for being self-centered. There are plenty of people in society who are self-centered.
