Today is a day to remember those who have passed away this week. We have lost a dear friend, a beautiful mother, a dear grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a brother, and a husband. We know that our hearts are broken, and we are grieving.
On the same day as this trailer, we took apart the Facebook page of the people who lost their mother. We made a few comments about the Facebook page, but we didn’t want to offend them. The Facebook page was a disaster, the page had taken too many hits, and the Facebook page was full of useless posts.
It’s okay to have opinions about the Facebook page; after all, it was only a few days ago. But it’s very important for Facebook to get the page back up and running so that people can leave their comments and continue to have their own opinions about the page. We do feel bad for the people who were put out of their misery. We’re sure they were devastated, but we are also sad for the other people who werent.
In a way, this is a good thing. It gives Facebook the opportunity to reach a new audience, a new audience that may not have been on Facebook before. We know there is a lot of value in Facebook’s current audience, but this change will probably help the site gain a wider audience.
The other reasons we are excited about this are because they are very important for Facebook to become a giant social network for people who have a lot of social media followers. In our opinion, these Facebook users are the brainy kids that Facebook needs to look after itself. They are the ones that have access to the power of the web and have an entire world to fall back on.
Facebook, as you might have already gathered, is a huge social media site and the one that is the most powerful. It makes sense that these brainy kids might want a more powerful site just for themselves. To be honest, we’re not sure if this is a good idea. But we’re glad Facebook is finally showing signs of growth in spite of its current audience, and we hope this change will help it gain a wider audience.
Facebook is always been a social site in its own right, and has only grown in popularity since its launch in 2004. But the main reason it’s a social site in the first place is due to its user base and its massive ad revenue. As well as its enormous users Facebook also gets a lot of money from its video and news sites. So its growth has always been based on ad revenues, which has kept Facebook in the top spots for the last several years.
But what happens when the main revenue of the site (and therefore the main revenue of Facebook) is from video and news, and the rest is from ads? What happens when users start to click adverts, and then leave Facebook? Of course the company’s revenue goes down, as does the number of users, and the number of ads available for advertisers.
The numbers are the same. In 2012, the revenue of Facebook was $8.85 billion. If users click on ads, the adverts are paid for by the advertisers, so the revenue goes down. At least for now.
As it turns out, Facebook is very much a paid-for site. It’s a Facebook-owned Facebook for developers. If you want to find out more about how Facebook works and how it works, check out the FAQ here.
