The original recipe says to use about an inch of ginger, two to three pieces of cinnamon, and a few drops of cardamom, which I didn’t get because I wasnt sure of the correct spice levels. So I went with a mixture of about 8 grams each of ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom. That’s about enough for about half a stick, roughly.
I use this recipe with about a 1/4 of a stick of ginger, 1/8 of a stick of cinnamon, and about 3 drops of cardamom. If I have a bit more I add a few more ingredients. The ginger is very sweet, so try to use it in small amounts. I also use it with a bit less cardamom, so experiment with that as well.
